Professor Christa Laser is an intellectual property law scholar, speaker, and teacher and an experienced trial and appellate litigator, having practiced at the law firms Kirkland & Ellis LLP and WilmerHale in patent, trademark, copyright, and advertising law and policy consulting. She represented leading life sciences and technology companies in all stages of trial and appellate matters and consulted on legislative and regulatory changes to intellectual property laws. She is currently a Professor at Cleveland-Marshall College of Law.
Professor Laser’s scholarship has ranked in numerous top ten lists of recent scholarship and has been cited by judges of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit and in briefs to the U.S. Supreme Court. Professor Laser is the author of Copyright for Photographers. She has media training and appeared on several popular shows and podcasts including This Week in Tech: Photo.
