Dr. Monique Aguirre (Dr. Mo) is the Chief Executive Officer of Resilient Counseling, Wellness, & Psychological Services LLC and possess over 10 years’ experience in the counseling field. Dr. Mo, has worked within community settings with individuals, and families as well as being the Program Director and Administrator for two acute care hospitals that were structured for intake and services.

As a provider of in-home counseling, she has provided adult and adolescent services for clients who struggle with self-harm, eating disorders, suicidal ideations, depression, anxiety, personality disorder, schizophrenia, and other life, mental health or behavioral concerns. The intervention approaches used by Dr. Mo are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Crises Intervention, Client Centered and Existential.

As a Doctor of Public Health, her goal is to educate what “MENTAL HYGIENE” is, which focuses on the prevention of developing psychosis, neurosis, or other mental disorders. She is working to break the stigmas of mental health by working through the Public Health sectors affecting both individuals and the community to teach and build healthier lifestyles and improve their quality of life.

As a public speaker for well over two-decades Dr. Aguirre has spoken at colleges, universities, churches, community centers and corporate events. She spotlights mental health (mental hygiene) issues, personal development, professional improvement and she also provides enhancement training through workshop environments.

As a published author, Dr. Aguirre has a peer-review article titled, Social Support, Psychological Distress, and Behavioral Outcomes Among Palliative Care Caregivers and her first book that discloses her personal matters Touching Lives Through Vision. Her new compilation serious "Blueprint" will be released late Summer 2019.

Dr. Monique Aguirre, DrPH, M.A., LAPC, was born in Chicago, IL unto Gary and Kathy Aguirre, raised in Beverly Hills, CA and resides now in Atlanta, GA. With 1-Malti-Pooh (Minx), obtained her Master’s Degree of Community Counseling from Argosy University in 2010, and furthered her education at Walden University, and obtained her Doctorate in Public Health in 2019, with a focus on community health and the psychological effects. She is certified in CANS and ANSA assessment.
