Jen Ferris is the senior state strategy director for Progress Now. Previously, she served as director of reproductive advocacy at Progress North Carolina. A third-generation feminist activist, Jen has been working to advance reproductive rights and access for more than a decade. She has worked on the front lines as the volunteer coordinator for her state abortion fund but now helps shape-- and advocate for-- abortion policy in North Carolina. In addition to her work at Progress, she is the communications director for NC Women United and the president of the Chapel Hill Community Home Trust Board of Directors. Jen believes that housing, healthcare, and reproductive freedom are the cornerstones of a fair and equitable world for all.
