My most recent book, "Sexy Selfie Nation: Standing Up for Yourself in Today's Toxic, Sexist Culture" (2025) is based on six years of research on why many teen girls and young women choose to wear body-revealing clothes and post sexy selfies on their social media. I've been tracking, researching, and writing about slut-shaming for three decades. I'm a regular expert voice in USA Today and have appeared on Oprah, The Today Show, Bill Maher, MSNBC, Fox News, and quoted in the New York Times, Washington Post, Boston Globe, Chicago Tribune, etc.
