Véronique is a political scientist and Lecturer at London South Bank University. She holds a master's degree from the Columbia University School of International and Public Affairs and is currently completing her Ph.D. in politics and international relations. Her research centers on war crimes, crimes against humanity, and genocide, approached from both legal and international relations perspectives. She has contributed to global initiatives through her work with UN Women, The International Criminal Court, United Nations Office of the High Commissioner of Human Rights, United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime, Washington D.C. Councilmember David Grosso's Office, The International Peace Institute, Columbia University Middle Eastern South Asian and African Studies, Columbia University Weatherhead East Asian Institute and King's College London Global Institute for Women's Leadership. In addition, her insights have been featured in articles through media outlets such as HuffPost, VICE, Cosmopolitan, The Washington Informer, and WWD.
